Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and Chorus
Join us for the final feast in our sumptuous season of delicious delights!
Highlighting the experience are the North American premiers of two fruit-tastic musical treats!
First to be served is the lush, sweet romanticism of Pod Jabloni (Under the Apple Tree) by Dvorak’s protégé, Josef Suk, from Czechoslovakia, translated into English by our musical director.
Next you’ll hear The Big Apple Clarinet Concerto by Tiziano Bedetti,from Italy, but bursting with New York City’s flavor and style!
Other fruits on this musical menu of fun include The Love for Three Oranges Suite by Prokofiev (served up by the symphony), and choral delights, such as the delicate Jesus Christ the Apple Tree by Poston, the quirky Ask the Orange by Flagello, and special apple-y favorites from the ensemble Belle Chanson!

The Hendricks Symphonic Society was founded in the spring of 2007 as a result of collaboration between a group of music lovers from Hendricks County, with the shared vision of making quality music available in the area. The Society consists of the Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and the Hendricks Symphony Chorus and we do business as Hendricks Symphony.

Hendricks Symphony Orchestra and Chorus perform five subscription concert weekends per year. Our performances are on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM and Sunday afternoons at 3:00 PM.
